On social media, former President Trump praised more than 200 Republican victories in the midterm elections on Tuesday.

Also, Trump spoke about DeSantis victory, a Republican who could challenge him in the 2024 Republican presidential primary.

On Wednesday, Trump wrote a series of statements on his favorite  social media site, Truth Social “Shouldn’t it be said that I received 1.1 million more votes in Florida in 2020 than Ron D did this year, 5.7 million to 4.6 million, now that the Florida election is finished and everything went well? Just curious.”

Republicans have started to theories that the party is splintering into several groups as a result of their on-going “cold war,” including those who back Trump, those who favor DeSantis, and others who don’t fit into either category.

Earlier on Wednesday, Trump lauded Republicans tremendous win in the results of the midterm elections in an interview with Fox News Digital. There is a fake news narrative that I was upset, but it is exactly the opposite, Trump said in a statement to Fox News Digital in reaction to accusations he was unhappy with the performances of the candidates he supported. “The people I helped out did really well. Amazingly, I went 216 to 19 in the general election and had a batting average of 98.6% in the primaries. The former president declared, “All these guys who are winning are my people,” noting the significance of victories for Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, newly elected Ohio Sen. JD Vance, and Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson.
