Coach Kliff Kingsbury’s assistant for the offensive line and the run game was fired for an incident that happened on Sunday.

Kugler was fired after the incident that happened in Mexico City just a day before the team’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The team’s website removed Kugler’s bio on Tuesday.

The 56-year-old Kugler was popular among the players and was repeatedly being praised even by Kingsbury. He was with him since 2019 and was also a head coach at UTEP from 2013 to 2017.

Despite the dismissal coach, Kingsbury denies that he may have to make changes in staff.

The run scheme was supposed to be Kugler’s responsibility which was the reason for the failure of the team says the coach.

Just ahead of the opening week Kelvin Beachum struggled with an injury-laden offensive line. The rest of the four were out being either reserved for injury or inactive with an injury.

James Conner missed three games because of a rib injury and his backup Eno Benjamin was released after repeated confrontations with the coach for whose run he describes as a ‘work in progress.’

Kingsbury further said that the team is still trying to figure out the best runs, and its best schemes and get their talents together despite losing some offensive line.
