Carrington, showcasing prowess, netted 5 of 9 shots, including two 3-pointers, and flawlessly executed all seven free throws for Pittsburgh (3-0). Complementing this stellar display, Blake Hinson contributed 18 points and five rebounds, extending the Panthers’ home-winning streak to nine games. Ishmael Leggett showcased versatility, accumulating 17 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Off the bench, freshman Jaland Lowe added 12 points, including two successful 3-pointers.
Facing off against Florida Gulf Coast (1-2), Keeshawn Kellman led the charge with 14 points and six rebounds. Isaiah Thompson, a formidable reserve, added 13 points, sinking three 3-pointers.
