In a shocking development, four key members of the Cyclones’ 2022 lineup have been accused of tampering with records. The investigation, initiated by the state of Iowa, centers around illicit gambling practices by numerous student-athletes from both institutions. The tampering charges involve utilizing another person’s identity, often that of a family member, to place wagers discreetly.

Among the implicated players is Isaiah Lee, a defensive tackle, who reportedly wagered against Iowa State in a 2021 match against the Texas Longhorns.
This marks the second instance in recent days of an athlete facing allegations of this nature. Aaron Blom, a backup kicker for the Hawkeyes, allegedly bet on the under in points for the team’s 2021 encounter with the Cyclones.
NCAA regulations regarding gambling are stringent, categorically forbidding athletes from engaging in any form of sports betting. The list of charged individuals also includes Jirehl Brock, DeShawn Hanika, and Jacob Remsburg.
