Colorado football coach Deion Sanders shared an encouraging update following his surgery to remove blood clots. Sanders expressed his well-being and anticipated discharge from the hospital on Sunday.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, Sanders revealed that doctors successfully removed a significant blood clot from his thigh, along with additional clots below his knee. He also mentioned another clot in his right leg that would be addressed soon.

In a recent Instagram post, Sanders explained that Friday’s surgery aimed to improve blood flow in his leg, with plans to address the toe issues later. Although he now walks with a limp and has undergone multiple procedures, including the removal of portions of his left calf, Sanders remains determined. Despite the doctor’s warning of a potential foot amputation, he remains optimistic, downplaying the likelihood and attributing it to a worst-case scenario.

Sanders, who assumed the role of head coach at the University of Colorado in December, eagerly awaits his first game with the Buffaloes, scheduled for September 2 against TCU.

His determination serve as an inspiration to all as he faces this latest health challenge with unwavering positivity.
