Gervonta Davis in trouble before next fight:

Gervonta Davis is an American boxer and World Boxing Champion from Baltimore, US. He has been training at Upton Boxing Center since he was 5 years old. He had a very successful career since his amateur years and won the gold gloves championship in 2012 along with two national junior Olympic gold medals. Davis also held a 130-pound title earlier.

Davis is scheduled to fight against Hector Luis Garcia on Jan 7 in Wahington D.C. at the PPV showtime event. It is a prelude to the super fight in Las Vegas on April 25.

Recently, on Tuesday he has been arrested for domestic violence charge in Parkland, Florida, and has been booked for several other charges in relation to his other ongoing suits.

Reason for Gervonta Davis arrest:

According to sources he has been allegedly accused of domestic violence charge of battery to his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child and now Gervonta Davis is behind bars for domestic Violence. The news is that he grabbed her by the throat at a charity event and caused her harm at the basketball game organized for charity at the University of Miami.

The video was captured and he also surrendered to police after the video went viral on Twitter. He was then charged with battery and domestic violence because of which the victim suffered an injury to her lip and jaw.

Apart from this incident, he has also been charged with hit and run case from November 2020 where he was accused of fleeing from the incident involving four people and a pregnant woman, and 2 misdemeanor battery charges where he was found battering his ex-girlfriend in February 2020.
