The Minnesota Vikings enter the NFL Draft with needs at quarterback and edge rusher, but running back is also a major question mark.
With Kirk Cousins’ future uncertain, the Vikings need a long-term solution at quarterback. While J.J. McCarthy is an option, another Michigan standout, running back Blake Corum, could be an attractive choice on day two.
Corum’s production is undeniable. He boasts nearly 4,000 career rushing yards and 45 touchdowns in just two seasons. Despite lacking significant receiving ability, his talent on the ground is hard to ignore.

While taking a running back high in the draft is uncommon, the Vikings’ need and Corum’s exceptional performance could make him an enticing pick. He brings power, determination, and consistent running style to the table.
With concerns about Alexander Mattison and Cam Akers’ future with the team, and Ty Chandler still unproven, the Vikings need depth and talent at the running back position. Corum could be the answer they seek.
