13 Injured in Central Florida Airboat Collision on Tourist Attraction Lake

A collision between two airboats on a lake in Central Florida resulted in 13 individuals sustaining injuries. The incident occurred on Cypress Lake, situated around 38 miles south of Orlando. The U.S. Coast Guard’s Seventh District conveyed the information via X.

Approximately 30 people were involved, and 13 injuries were reported in an incident on Cypress Lake in Kenansville, FL, involving two airboats colliding.

The mishap transpired at the Wild Florida attraction in Osceola County. A representative from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission confirmed the occurrence to media sources.

Park officials are cooperating with multiple authorities, including the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the U.S. Coast Guard. Wild Florida is simultaneously conducting an internal inquiry to ascertain the incident’s cause.
