A Home Invasion at Bolingbrook Leaves 3 Dead & 1 Injured

On Sunday around 8:15 p.m., a home invasion took place along 100 block of Lee Lane in Bolingbrook, Illinois. Bolingbrook is situated less than 30 miles southwest of Chicago.

According to the report by Boligbrook police, the suspect had shot 2 adult(one male, one female) and 1 juvenile to death on Sunday night. Also one additional adult victim was injured during the incident. He was immediately taken to an area hospital.

The police said in a statement that, “At this time, one adult female, one adult male, and one juvenile female have been pronounced deceased. One adult female has been transported to an area hospital for treatment.

At this time, there is no offender information available. Further updates to follow as information becomes available.” The police also added, “Our patrol officers and investigators are working diligently on all potential leads and evidence at this time.”

Police have no one in custody at this time as well as they have sealed the location where the incident took place. The shooting residue have also been taken under investigation. No description of the suspect was released. This situation is developing and this report will be updated.
