In a tragic incident outside a popular Hollywood nightclub, a security guard lost his life after being brutally beaten. The Los Angeles Police Department reported that the fatal altercation occurred around 2 a.m. on Sunday near Santa Monica Boulevard and Wilcox Avenue, prompting a search for potentially up to nine suspects.
The victim, an unidentified security guard working at the Dragonfly club, was confronted by a large group of individuals, possibly numbering up to nine. Witnesses stated that the confrontation escalated into violence as the group ruthlessly beat and stomped the security guard after he fell to the ground.
Officers discovered the victim lying unresponsive in the street and swiftly rushed him to the hospital. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away.

Detective Samuel Marullo urged potential witnesses, stating, “We know that oftentimes people will record these types of incidents on their cellphone. We would encourage them to share that with us as it can help bring a sense of justice to this person’s family.”
As of now, no arrests have been made, and the motive behind this violent confrontation remains unclear. Authorities continue their investigation to identify and apprehend the suspects responsible for the security guard’s untimely death.
