Welz Kauffman Named New Head of Old Town School of Folk Music

Chicago, IL – Former Ravinia Festival CEO Welz Kauffman has been appointed as the new Executive Director and CEO of the Old Town School of Folk Music. Kauffman’s appointment comes after a nationwide search.

Known for his successful tenure at Ravinia, where he oversaw significant growth and expansion, Kauffman brings a wealth of experience in arts management and a deep passion for music to his new role. Under his leadership, Ravinia experienced a resurgence, with increased attendance, expanded programming, and the development of new facilities.
