Trump’s GOP Rivals portray him as a Loser at the Las Vegas Conference

Trump at GOP Meet

Donald Trump’s big donors are being courted as Losers by nascent rivals in The Republican Party for 2024. At the Las Vegas meeting, GOP’s future was discussed under the former president’s leadership.

The party displayed remarkable defiance despite being defined by its allegiance to Trump for the past six years. Trump’s own Cabinet and major donors were his critics for the unofficial beginning of the next presidential season said the organizers.

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan a Republican presidential prospect and frequent critic of Trump said, “I don’t think we’ve gotten to this point before”.

The two-day Republican Jewish Coalition’s annual leadership meeting, which began on Friday, is taking place days after Trump became the first Republican to announce his 2024 campaign. Many of his allies hoped that the first announcement by Trump will make a big change. But, the criticism doesn’t seem to ward off making it difficult for Trump by calling him a Loser. It is also important to take note of the fact that he lost the midterm last week, thus affecting his political standing within the GOP.

Many of Trump’s critics and Cabinet members are conducting private meetings and giving public speeches. Trump is yet to address about the conference at Las Vegas.

Some of the leading Trump rivals like DeSanctis and Pence were also part of the conference. Other speakers include Hogan, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu, and Florida Sen. Rick Scott. Virginia governor refrained from attending upon the incident of three dead in a shooting at the University of Virginia. Among these Trump blames DeSantis and Pence for not overturning the 2020 elections.

Despite the hate and criticism, the former president is set to rise again to threaten the Republican Party and American democracy. Also, the young Florida governor in contrast to all is in support of Trump or at least prefers not to criticize him. He is not any ordinary leader he has turned the tables in the politically powerful state of Florida where Trump lives.

Ultimately, we should not forget the fact that Trump is Trump and he can prove to be dangerous in his own ways. The former president very well knows how to reserve his most vicious attacks for the disloyal. The criticism war between Trump and Pence is another game where the former Vice president who served Trump does whatever he can to show down on Trump, but Trump never allows the winds blowing to settle down on him so easily.
