Amy Grant suffered bike accident in July in Nashville and was forced to cancel several tours. She while talking to People on Saturday said that she feels fantastic now.

The musician Amy, The Grammy Award winner, had to cancel several tours. After her accident she told that her husband, Vince Gill “made every day of the journey okay”. After her bike accident she arrived at the Music Center in Los Angeles for an even honoring Jerry Moss on Saturday.

“The biggest thing was in the two months after the wreck, it was really depressing,” she explained. “Everything cancelled, and I just said, ‘What if I’m never all the way back?’ “

“And he said, ‘Things happen to people every day, and you just have to take one day at a time, and we’re here, and I love you.’ And that just kind of made every day of the journey okay. And I do feel fantastic,” Grant continued.

Amy Grant stated that she was hospitalised in stable conditions in July after being hit by a pothole while bike riding in Nashville and was treated for cuts and abrasions and was held for observations. Later she was ordered additional recovery time and had to postpone several tours. Now she is back to stage and resumed performances.

The worst part is that Amy’s accident happened post her open-heart surgery in February 2021 which was don’t for rare congenital heart condition detected during a check up in previous year.
