Jenelle Evans Reports Attempted Break-In

North Carolina, February 27, 2024 – Jenelle Evans, former star of MTV’s Teen Mom 2, contacted authorities early Sunday morning after a reported break-in attempt at her residence.

According to police records and local media reports, Evans called 911 around 1:30 am on February 25th and informed the operator that someone was attempting to enter her home. Officers arrived at the scene but found no trace of the suspect.

Evans reported that the suspect had broken the lock on a sliding glass door and made a mess in the garage. An investigation is ongoing to identify the culprit and understand the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Evans took to social media, seemingly referencing the event, stating, “Still recovering, but the scariest thing happened last night. Processing it all.”

This incident comes amidst a period of personal turmoil for Evans. In late summer and early fall of 2023, her son Jace, 14, ran away from home on three occasions and later reported being assaulted by Evans’ husband, David Eason. Eason was subsequently arrested on felony strangulation charges.

Following an investigation by child protective services, Jace was returned to Evans’ custody, while Eason remains subject to a no-contact order and resides on his boat.

This complex situation has garnered significant public attention, with Evans seeking to shift the narrative surrounding her family.
