Reality TV stars Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix are facing off in court regarding their shared Los Angeles home.
Madix filed a lawsuit in January, requesting a “partition by sale,” which would force the property’s sale and division of the proceeds. However, Sandoval recently challenged the lawsuit, arguing Madix failed to present valid grounds for her claim and did not act in good faith.
Sandoval claims Madix neglected to disclose “sufficient facts” in her lawsuit. He further alleges she failed to properly mitigate any damages incurred and acted unreasonably.
If the court rules in Madix’s favor, Sandoval seeks compensation for any improvements he made to the property that increased its value.
The former couple purchased the house together in 2019. Following their breakup in March 2023 due to Sandoval’s infidelity, Madix has expressed her desire to sell the home, while Sandoval reportedly wishes to remain.
Sandoval recently alleged on “Vanderpump Rules” that Madix had not contributed financially to the household for several months, causing financial strain. Madix maintains her stance against leaving the property after Sandoval’s betrayal.
The legal battle and living situation remain unresolved.
