Now, this thrilling announcement comes on the heels of some health news from one of Bruce’s Iron Maiden bandmates. Drummer Nicko McBrain recently revealed that he faced a health scare, experiencing a stroke just months before the band was set to kick off their ‘The Future Past Tour 2023.’

At 71 years old, Nicko McBrain bravely shared his journey to recovery with fans, expressing his initial fears that his music career might be over after losing mobility on his right side due to the stroke in January. He went on to explain that the stroke was diagnosed as a “TIA” (transient ischaemic attack) and expressed gratitude to his loved ones, medical professionals, and the Iron Maiden family for their unwavering support throughout his recovery.

Despite the initial hurdles, McBrain’s determination and the incredible support around him have helped him make remarkable progress on his road to recovery. As Iron Maiden soldiers on with their ‘The Future Past Tour 2023,’ fans can join in celebrating Nicko’s incredible resilience.

The return of Bruce Dickinson to the solo music scene and Nicko McBrain’s inspiring journey of recovery stand as powerful reminders of the enduring spirit and dedication of Iron Maiden and its members. Music enthusiasts worldwide are eagerly counting down the days until the release of ‘The Mandrake Project’ and the chance to witness these two legends in action once more.
