NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Marybeth Briney, a Middle Tennessee resident’s home now boasts a brand-new roof, all thanks to her victory in a national contest.

Aspen Contracting, based in Missouri, conducts an annual “Cover 4 Others” program that provides free roof installations for families nationwide.

This year, Marybeth Briney, a resident of Old Hickory, was selected as one of the eight winners. She received this opportunity after being nominated by a dedicated Aspen Contracting employee and earning the most votes from the public. Briney, who teaches Pre-K and actively volunteers in her community, was a deserving recipient.

Expressing her gratitude, Briney remarked, “I’m just so grateful that they have this program,” Briney said. “I had the opportunity, and it’s actually here.”

General Manager of Aspen Contracting, John Johnson, highlighted the dire condition of Briney’s roof, stating, “Her roof is about 90 years old in particular, and she couldn’t afford to get the repairs done to it. When we took the roof off this morning, we found a lot deeper problems.”

Over the past eight years, Aspen Contracting has generously replaced roofs for over 70 families across the nation.
