Shakira Returns with Empowering Album “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.”

Shakira is back! The Colombian superstar releases her first album in seven years, “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” (Women No Longer Cry), this Friday, March 22nd.

The album’s fiery spirit was clear over a year ago with her collaboration with Bizarrap, “Bzrp Music Sessions Vol. 53.” The song, a bold message to her ex-husband, solidified her status as a powerful woman.

This energy continues on “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran,” which features 16 tracks, including a remix of the Bizarrap hit with DJ/producer Tiesto. Joining Shakira on the album is a star-studded lineup including Cardi B, Ozuna, Rauw Alejandro, and Karol G.

Thematically, the album is about moving forward. Shakira spoke about this recently, reflecting on her sacrifices to support her ex-partner’s career. She has transformed her experiences – frustration, anger, and sadness – into creative expression.

Fans already know some of the album’s hits, including “Te Felicito” with Alejandro, a chart-topping Latin song, and “Monotonía” with Ozuna.

But the opening track, “Puntería” featuring Cardi B, is a true standout. The bilingual song, with its danceable beat, showcases Shakira’s smooth vocals alongside Cardi B’s signature rapping style.

Shakira and Cardi B are a powerful duo, setting the tone for an album that celebrates female strength while moving between catchy Latin rhythms and emotional ballads.
