Fifth Teen Arrested in Northeast Philly Shooting.

Police arrested a 15-year-old boy on Thursday for his role in the March 6th shooting that injured eight high school students at a bus stop.

The teen allegedly acted as a lookout, sending descriptions and photos of the victims to others in a nearby car involved in the attack. Police say the 15-year-old was communicating with the four previously arrested suspects, aged 17-19.

Investigators believe the teen sent a text message saying “I’m wearing this type of clothing, don’t shoot me” before the incident.

Surveillance footage captured the teen’s actions, and he now faces charges including attempted murder and aggravated assault.

Police are still searching for a motive in the shooting and investigating potential connections between the arrested teens and other crimes.

Victims and Previously Arrested Suspects

Eight students, aged 15-17, were wounded in the attack, with one suffering nine gunshot wounds.

Four other teenagers – Jamaal Tucker (18), Ahnile Buggs (18), Jermahd Carter (19), and Asir Boone (17) – were previously arrested for their involvement.

Tucker and Buggs face charges related to attempted murder, assault, and firearm violations for each victim. Carter and Boone were arrested on similar charges but details are not yet public.
