In a recent courtroom development, Christine, the estranged wife of renowned actor Kevin Costner, has been instructed to cover $14,237.50 in legal fees for the actor’s attorneys.

The decision came during a hearing presided over by Judge Thomas Anderle, marking another episode in the ongoing and acrimonious divorce battle between the two.

Kevin Costner, 68, sought answers regarding Christine’s understanding of their prenuptial agreement, which led to the accumulation of $14,237.50 in legal expenses. Judge Anderle underscored the significance of this case during the ruling.

The dispute revolves around a request for order filed in California Superior Court, where Kevin’s legal team pressed Christine, 49, to respond to their inquiries about the prenuptial agreement’s validity. They contended that Christine was withholding vital information about the agreement.

The former couple, who were married for 18 years before Christine filed for divorce in May, shares three children: Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13.

In another recent courtroom episode, a Santa Barbara judge determined that Kevin will pay Christine $63,209 in monthly child support, which aligns with his proposed amount. This decision came after Christine and her lawyers had initially requested $175,057, a significant increase from the $129,755 Kevin had been provisionally ordered to pay in July.

When asked about his feelings toward Christine outside the courtroom, Kevin responded, “Of course,” affirming that he still has love for his estranged wife. He acknowledged the difficulty of their situation, saying, “This is a horrible place to be, but this is where we’re at.”

The legal saga continues, with Kevin and Christine scheduled to appear in court once again in December to address the validity of their premarital agreement.
