The Phoenix Suns defeated the Denver Nuggets 104-97 on Wednesday night. Kevin Durant led the Suns with 30 points and 13 rebounds. The Suns won the season series against the Nuggets 2-1.

The Suns were without starting center Jusuf Nurkic, who sprained his ankle in Monday’s loss. Phoenix won its first game without Nurkic.

Devin Booker and Bradley Beal also played well for the Suns. Booker started the game hot despite an injured finger. Beal knocked down several 3-pointers.

The Nuggets were without Jamal Murray, who sat out with a knee injury. Nikola Jokic had a triple-double for Denver with 22 points, 10 assists and 9 rebounds.

The Suns are still trying to improve their record and move up in the standings. They face a tough remaining schedule but they are confident they can beat good teams.

The win over the Nuggets could give the Suns a mental edge if they meet again in the first round of the playoffs. The Nuggets are currently in first place in the Western Conference.

The Suns bench players also played well on Wednesday night. Eric Gordon scored 10 points, Bol Bol added 8 points, and Royce O’Neale had 5 points and 7 rebounds.
